Delighted to be part of the Lost and Found project on 8th March (International Women’s Day). I have been commissioned by The Royal Opera House with Jette Parker to compose a new mini Opera with librettist Oge Nwosu. DETRITUS for bass voice and violin sung by a station cleaner who may or may not be St Anthony of Padua The Patron Saint of Lost Things. Performed by Blaise Malaba and Jaime Woollard (double cast) and violinist from the Casco Phil under the departure boards at St. Pancras Station during the day between 11am and 4.30pm, along with mini operas by 5 other female identifying writing teams. Directed by Diane Page with musical direction by Yshani Perinpanayagam and Ellie Slorach.
